project Management

  • Project manager for Singapore HeritageFest (SHF) (2020 - Current), its 20th edition saw more than 1.8 million visitors over a month-long period.

  • Spearheaded the rebranding efforts for the then-17 year old heritage festival (2020)

  • Spearheaded the website redevelopment, improving the UI / UX experience (2020)

  • Organised Singaporeans of Victoria’s National Day Gala Ball (2018)

  • Led Malay Heritage Centre’s outreach and educational programmes (2013 - 2018)

  • Held various leadership roles for SIM-UB’s Freshmen Orientation Camps (2010 - 2012)


DIGITAL MARKETING

  • Handled SHF’s marketing and digital engagement efforts, including the set-up of a festival Instagram account (2019 - Current)

  • Marketing lead for Singapore Night Festival (SNF), oversaw creation of social and physical marketing collaterals (2021 - Current)

  • Led Singaporeans of Victoria’s Marketing team (2018)

  • Led the Malay Heritage Centre’s overall marketing efforts including content curation of its digital assets, development of EDMs and quarterly marketing brochures (2013 - 2018)


PARTNERSHIPS & OUTREACH

  • Speaker for the MuseumNext 2021 Conference, I presented to international arts, cultural and heritage professionals on developing the first-ever digital heritage festival. (2021)

  • Guest-lectured for arts management modules at polytechnics and universities, developing opportunities for programming co-creation (2019 - Current)

  • Led school partnerships for Festivals (2019 - Current)) and the Malay Heritage Centre (MHC) (2014 - 2018)

  • Developed educational materials and programmes for the MHC (2014 - 2018)


TEACHING

  • Coordinated the enhancement and also taught two BA(Hons) Arts Management modules in LASALLE (Industry & Community Engagement and Arts Placement), streamlining workflows and integrating them seamlessly for a 3-year cohort of 120 students.

  • Career advisor for BA (Hons) Arts Management programme in LASALLE, supervising up to 40 student internships per year equipping them for successful careers in the cultural sector.


VOLUNTEERING

  • Ask Alumni mentor for the University of Melbourne (2019 - Current)

  • Volunteered for MyCommunity, a non-profit heritage organisation that conducts community tours and workshops (2021 - 2022)

  • Industry mentor for five Diploma of Arts Business Management students from Ngee Ann Polytechnic (2021 - 2022)
